Darin Wirth puts everything he has into his music. With a history that spans genres, Darin's style reflects the depth of a seasoned vocalist, musician, songwriter, and performer.

Darin, who comes from a long lineage of family musicians shines as a tenor vocalist adding smooth texture and rich harmonies throughout The V-Chords' songs. Shortly after taking up the guitar and piano at age 11, Darin was performing in every garage band he could find in Southern Oregon. After high school, Darin studied music theory and vocals at Southern Oregon University and first thought of teaching in the area. However, the desire to be in front of a crowd ultimately pulled him north and he has lived in Portland ever since. "From the moment I hit town I just fell in love with the city of Portland and the people here."

After playing in several Portland bands, Darin decided to try something different in music and started the search for a vocal group. "I was just looking for a choir or something and I had never heard of Pop-A Cappella," says Darin. I was so excited about the project when I found the V-Chords and am just elated to be in the line-up."
